This talk deals with the psychological and neuroscientific concepts of subjectivity that invariably lead to couples feeling the victims in relationship conflict. The implications for the hurt-hate coupling and how to remedy this is discussed. This presentation represents a fusion of neuroscience and psychoanalytic insights into couple dynamics.
