CPD points & talks · Psychologists

Cathy Milwidsky has been the Head of Early Learning and Development at Moriah College, based in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney since 2005. She manages the staff and children in three early learning centres. Prior to this Cathy worked at Jewish Care, where she helped to establish and run the Family Support Programme.

Cathy has a background in education and counseling and over the years has continued to develop thinking around how to best support families of children under the age of 5, and what experiences would enhance and enrich the day to day lives of the children, their educators and families.

Cathy is a steadfast advocate of the rights of the child; she has a strong belief that there is no more important indicator of the wellbeing and success of a community than the way in which the community attends to each child. Cathy is committed to the understanding that if we get things right in the early years, we set children up for a meaningful and productive future. In her work, every day, a feeling of belonging is nurtured through authentic and loving relationships, healthy connections are established and an overall commitment to an optimistic outlook is valued.
