Judith Ancer is a Clinical psychologist in private practice in Greenside, Johannesburg. She has worked at Tara Hospital on the adult psychotherapy ward; at Crossroads Remedial School with children and parents; and as a supervisor and trainer of other mental health professionals. She is director of Shrink Rap, a company that offers continuing professional education to healthcare and human resource professionals and provides training and counselling services to small companies. She often give talks and run workshops and used to write a weekly column on parenting issues for the Sunday Times.
