CPD points & talks · Psychologists

I work as a clinical psychologist, currently in private practice, in Sydney Australia.

I have a strong interest in working with couples and individuals concerning issues around gender and adoption.I worked for three years in the Johannesburg Metro Community Clinics and conducted therapy in Soweto, Alexander, Hillbrow and Discoverer’s Clinics. During this time, I worked with individuals, groups, children, teens, couples and adults and a variety of issues. I have conducted a number of research programs where my main focus has been gender issues often related to body image, feminism and masculinity.

I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Masters Degree in Play Therapy from UNISA. The Wits psychology course has a strong focus on psychodynamic theory and practice, I also received practical experience in short term therapy, long term therapy and trauma counselling. UNISA gave me a strong foundation in working with children.
