Lara graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a degree in speech therapy and audiology, and has subsequently spent the past 15 years in clinical practice where she has developed a special interest in vestibular disorders and tinnitus assessment and management. She has attended a plethora of conferences and workshops, both locally and internationally, including a recent trip to Copenhagen where she attended the Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Masterclass. Lara has also been a guest presenter at various conferences pertaining to her areas of interest. Together with Natanya Ruso, Lara is currently an owner and audiologist at Equilibrium Audiology in Johannesburg. Lara is also a qualified yoga instructor and enjoys bringing the benefits of yoga philosophy, meditation and breath work into her paradigm of treatment.
