Ethics Simplified was started in 2011 by Annelie van der Westhuyzen and aims to provide guidance to health care workers in South Africa on real life ethical and legal dilemmas faced on a daily basis.
Annelie is a Speech Therapist with additional qualifications in Hearing Aid Acoustics and Health Management. She has 20 years experience working in the private and public sector. She completed her Masters in Bioethics and Health Law in 2015 and currently works as a part time Clincal Supervisor and Lecturer at the University of Stellenbosch. She further provides Ethics and Health Law workshops (on various topics) in person, and online.
