Dr. Caroline Bernhardt-Lanier is a Franco-American Licensed National Professional Counsellor (Washington DC and Maryland),Maryland Board-approved Clinical Supervisor andMember of the American Counselling Association.

Caroline is an Imago Relationship Therapist, and a clinical instructor with the Imago International Training Institute (IITI). She works with individuals and couples and trains therapists internationally, with a focus on helping clinicians develop clinical competence, confidence, clarity, and presence in the therapy room.

Her work is grounded in Imago Relationship Therapy and enriched by an integrative, relational approach drawing from attachment, developmental, and experiential models. Caroline is particularly interested in how structured relational processes create safety, support regulation, and foster meaningful connection between partners. She divides her time between the United States and Barcelona, where she offers therapy, workshops, and professional training. Caroline is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
