Cathy is an early childhood educator and leader, a registered counsellor and member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Cathy held the position of Head of Early Learning and Development in an Early Learning Setting in Australia for close to 18 years; a steadfast advocate for young children, their families and educators, understanding and promoting the importance of these foundation years. Prior to this, Cathy worked as part of a Family Support Team in a Communal Organisation, providing counselling and guidance to vulnerable families. Cathy has harnessed her skills and experience and has established an educational consultancy, Loving Well, designed for parents and educators of young children as well as couples in the months before getting married.

Cathy was born in Johannesburg South Africa and since 1997, has lived in Sydney Australia with her husband. They have two grown up daughters and all feel fortunate to belong to a large extended and loving family.
