Dr Giada Del Fabbro is a clinical psychologist in private practice.  She obtained her Masters in Clinical Psychology and Doctorate in Psychology at the University of Pretoria. She has been working in the field of child and adolescent mental health for the past 12 years. She has worked in the field of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) in various settings, ranging from interventions at local government hospital units to private clinics, and including training and supervision of professionals in DBT. She was responsible for introducing brief term DBT interventions for children and adolescents at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital’s Child and Family Unit. When she is not imparting skills related to emotional regulation, she is a passionate and devoted mother to her 3-year-old toddler and a watcher of most sports.
