Bio

Stephanie Gottwald, Ph.D., is the Assistant Director of the Centre for Reading and Language Research at Tufts University and the Director of Content for the non-profit organisation Curious Learning. She received her doctorate in literacy and language development from Tufts University and was the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to Germany. Dr. Gottwald is a frequent speaker at events related to elementary education, literacy and learning disabilities. Her professional publications focus on her research and clinical interests in psycholinguistics, cognitive neuroscience, and learning disabilities. She is the co-author with Dr. Maryanne Wolf of the upcoming book: Tales of Literacy for the 21st Century: The Literary Agenda.
