Hailey van der Berg

CPD courses for psychologists

Hailey Van der Berg’s passion for career psychology started when she interned and then worked at the Student Counselling, Career and Development Centre at the Nelson Mandela University. She always thought there was a distinction between career counselling and personal counselling. However, the biggest lesson she learned during this time was that "career is personal". She became more involved in career counselling and bringing career psychology to different communities. She realised how much of career counselling is about identity and purpose in life, and what an absolute privilege it is to walk that very personal journey with others. Her passion is teaching other practitioners how to administer, score and interpret career psychometry, as well as the skills involved in career counselling.
