Lauren Aron – Specialist Eating Disorder Psychotherapist & Founder of The Hope Space
Lauren Aron is a highly specialist eating disorder psychotherapist and the founder of The Hope Space, a private outpatient service in London offering integrative care for individuals struggling with eating disorders and trauma. With nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field, Lauren draws on a robust foundation in clinical social work and psychotherapy, combining modalities such as CBT-E, EMDR, IFS, schema therapy, and psychodynamic approaches.
She completed her Master’s in Clinical Social Work and Psychotherapy at the University of Cape Town while working full-time at a leading inpatient eating disorder unit. Lauren has worked across inpatient, day patient, and outpatient settings in both South Africa and the United Kingdom, including specialist roles at ORRI and The London Centre for Eating Disorders and Body Image.
Her approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration, and she is passionate about supporting both clients and clinicians in understanding the nuanced beginnings of effective treatment.
