Lize graduated from Stellenbosch University in 2013  with a BSc in Dietetics. Early in her career she discovered her passion for eating disorder recovery and focussed her practice not just on clinical nutritional science but more on people's lived experience. She became curious about clients’ relationship to food and body, trauma and identity and how these things impact health and quality of life. She upskilled in topics like about diet culture, weight stigma, Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating and all of these have greatly shaped the way I practice.
