Tarryn Blake

Tarryn is an Educational Psychologist who completed her Masters Degree in 2014, Cum Laude. She is also a qualified High School teacher, and has 5 years teaching experience. Tarryn is currently in private practice, as well as working part-time in a government school. She has been a guest lecturer at a Masters level at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg campus. She also supervises Masters students at the University. Tarryn has special interests in early childhood development, barriers to learning, psycho-educational assessments, anxiety, depression and ADHD. She predominantly uses CBT strategies to assist clients overcome their challenges in life. She works collaboratively with parents, teachers, other therapists and key individuals in order to identify and implement early intervention strategies for children experiencing difficulties at school, home or other environments.
