In this talk, clinical social worker and experienced grief therapist Carin Marcus outlines different models informing our understanding of the grief process, based on theoretical work in the area and extensive clinical experience. Carin then addresses how grief presents in children at different developmental stages, and what this means for assisting children to deal with grief. Carin then addresses the therapy process with bereaved patients, looking at how patients can find meaning in life after loss.
