This talk is part of a series. In the Pressure Garment talks you will learn to measure, cut and sew your own pressure garment materials, in the comfort of your home or practice/hospital. These talks are a MUST for all OTs/OTTs/OTAs working with burn patients and scar management.

Requirements for the talk:
Qualified occupational therapists or occupational therapy assistant/ technicians may purchase this talk.
Basic sewing skills using a sewing machine; must be able to thread machine, wind and change
bobbin, sew a line with straight and zig-zag stitch, change a needle, reverse stitch and basic
troubleshooting.
- Items needed to be able to fabricate your garment at home:
• Sewing Machine and Pressure garment material
• Large sheets of interfacing/paper for designing patterns
• Multi-plug
• Spare needles (preferably stretch needle)
• Cotton thread
• Scissors or material rotary cutter
• Measuring tape
• Ruler
