The Hope Space, founded by Lauren Marie Aron, is a clinician-led practice dedicated to advancing the treatment of eating disorders and trauma. Born and raised in South Africa, Lauren brings a wealth of international experience, having worked across clinical settings in both South Africa and the UK — from inpatient and day patient units to outpatient services, always focusing on providing specialised care for individuals navigating the complexities of disordered eating and trauma.

Now based in London, Lauren runs her private practice, The Hope Space, which was created to offer not only expert clinical care but also to cultivate a community of warmth, hope, and collaboration. The practice is grounded in a belief that recovery is possible, and that compassionate, evidence-based treatment — delivered by a team deeply committed to this field — can make a meaningful difference.

Lauren is a Highly Specialist Eating Disorder Therapist and trained EMDR therapist, with a clinical approach that integrates trauma-informed care into the treatment of eating disorders. Beyond her therapeutic work, she is passionate about professional development and the future of psychotherapy.

Lauren's commitment extends beyond clinical work to fostering the growth and development of fellow therapists. She believes deeply in the power of ongoing learning, connection, and collaboration to enhance clinical practice and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
