An Introduction to Working with Addiction

This talk outlines an approach to treating addiction from a psychological perspective, from the Director of Houghton House Addiction facility, Dan Wolf, a psychologist with many years of experience working with addiction, and one of the founders of Houghton House.

The speaker defines addiction in a nuanced way, and considers the person's relationship with the substance as a key component. He looks at a model of change which involves a meaningful inner journey.

Many health professionals see working with addiction as a specialised area, yet it is extremely common. This talk offers essential insight.
